The Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind （王牌冤家）

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my favorite movies. I didn’t see it when it release in theater(I even don't know it was release in theater), but later, I read the newspaper, it said the movie is one of 10 most worth to see in 2004, so I rent it and love it. I like Kate Winslet always, but Jim Carrey also great in this movie. The editing and original plot both great.

For me, this is not only a story about love, but also a story about memory. Sometimes we feel pains, so we wanna forget all about someone/something, we think that would be good, but that’s not a helpful way. If you can erase the memory you don’t want, is that would be happier? No, I don’t think so, even if your heart so clear like white paper, but there are always something missing. You would feel it and try to find out for whole life, and that definitely not happy. Forget is good or bad for people? That’s the question I think about from this movie. The way to let pain go is face it, not forget it. Memory is a treasure for us because we remember everything we experienced and felt, the one we love or hate, at the eternal sunshine, the mind might be spotless but also miss every beautiful thing in the life.

From this movie, I also remember 2 movies about memory: IRIS and Se Souvenir des belles choses. Both of them also my favorite movies.

p.s.我真的很替「王牌冤家」這部片叫屈，翻壞了的譯名讓我根本沒注意到它，直到雜誌評選它為2004年十大必看好片（IMDB評分高達八分以上），以及凱特溫絲蕾一再以本片入圍金球、奧斯卡，我才驚覺我竟忽略了這部片！如果你也錯過它了，可以租來瞧瞧喔！
